I’m an intimate wedding photographer originally from the coast of Virginia, now based in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hiking a new trail with my fur babies, eating tacos (my forever favorite), or spending intentional time with my little family of five.
I began my journey photographing families and children, but I quickly realized my heart was drawn to something deeper; the quiet, powerful bond between two people in love.
My style is timeless, romantic, and editorial with an artistic edge. I’m passionate about capturing the in-between moments (the subtle hand squeezes, the tearful glances, the unplanned laughter) alongside those bold, frame-worthy portraits! The kind of images that feel effortless but intentional... emotional but refined!!

Now for the real, raw part of me....
I picked up my first film camera at a young age and photographed everything. I still have an album from my childhood home literally every inch documented! It may seem silly now, but little did I know, it was the beginning of something!
In 2012, I took photography classes and completely fell in love with the art form. Shortly after, I spent three months traveling Europe with just a small savings and a big sense of adventure. That season absolutely changed me! It helped me discover who I was, and what I wanted!
The mountains called me home in 2013, and after a few career detours and seasons of feeling unfulfilled, I realized what was missing all along: a camera back in my hands!!
In 2016, I picked it back up. In 2017, with a little encouragement and a lot of faith, I officially launched HLS Photography, and I’ve truly never looked back!
Today, I pour my heart into creating an intentional, elevated experience for my couples. Your love story deserves to be documented in a way that feels authentic, artful, and timeless!
